ZONA PARK STUDIO

ZONA PARK STUDIO is a full service recording getaway in Central Texas. It’s a 30 minute drive from Austin, with easy access to San Antonio. You’ll find us in a secluded area where forest meets meadow. Our rustic handmade building sounds excellent for tracking of live band performance or focused overdub and vocal work. As engineers and musicians we’ve got decades of experience making records in varied situations with many creative and uncompromising independent artists. Over many years we’ve collected and maintained a unique set of gear for making and capture of sounds, starting with an API analog front end going through great microphones by Neumann, RCA, Coles, Telefunken, and more through analog preamps, compression and EQ by EMI, API, Universal Audio, Retro, and Ampex. The guitars, amplifiers, drum kits, and pianos are acoustic, electric, and digital, with lots of character and variety. The most important factor and what makes our zone special, is the space and comfort to disengage from distractions of the city, to bring relaxed inspiration to your recordings.
